A little box with big impact!
Growing up Easter was such a fun time for me. I remember waking up early Sunday morning to watch a Family Circus Easter every single year. That is until it stopped airing (this only goes to show you exactly how old I am LOL). My parents would wake up to give me a huge easter basket filled with candies and toys. Mass was attended fairly early and then off with our in-laws. Now those people know how to throw a get together! There were alway plenty of food, games and the kids held talent shows. When you ask me about Easter...these are my fondest memories.
Now with Easter right around the corner, I figure it's time to get working on my gifts. Usually I like to make small favor boxes with chocolates and hand those out to my friends and family. This year is no different.
As usual I like to make good use of my Cricut die cutting machine. It is one thing that I swear by since in all honesty, I can really do anything with this. Being able to use my machine print and cut makes my job of making multiple crafts so much easier. I love the way a wafter die cut looks, but it is only one day and if you have a large project it is not very conducive to making large orders.
Below I have a step by step video showing how I made by favor box. I have also included the instructional vide for the symmetrical box. It's very versatile.
I do hope that you have found this a cute and fun project to make for Easter and that you take a chance and make it. Share your projects with me as well. Tag me on instagram!
