World Card Making Day!

We are quickly approaching October 1st!  You know what that means right?

You don't?  Okay...so maybe i'm not the only one.  I just recently found out that there is a celebrated day for card crafters.  Every October 1st it is celebrated world wide by sending those you love a handmade card. 

A lot of the time we just buy a card from our local drug store and that's it.  We like the original one with pretty little things on it because it looks hand crafted, but there is something to be said about making it yourself.  

1) How awesome is it that you accomplished making something for that special person in your life?
2) How much more value do you think it adds to the person receiving it? 
3) It shows that you took time out of your day just for that someone.

Sometimes we don't always consider this and it's an easy fix to just buy one.  Eh...they will never know right?  Right?
