Sometimes when we are missing that someone special... send a card!

Welcome back! today you will learn to make this wonderful no-line watercolor image using distress inks.  The one thing that I can say about buying these types of inks is that they are so versatile, they are a must for every crafter.   You will also need several items from Craftin Desert Divas.

Now you will need several colors for this card.  The supplies you will need are as below:
  • A2 Card Base
  • Brown cardstock 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" (A2 size)
  • Craft cardstock 5 1/4" x 4"
  • Yellow print card stock trimmed using the largest of the Fancy Frame Dies
  • Watercolor paper trimmed with the second larges of the Fancy Frame Dies.
  • Brown die cut "Wishing"
  • Brown die cut of the double fishtail banner from the "Flag Banner Dies"
  • Simply White Nuvo Crystal Drops
Now the distress ink:
  • Salty Ocean
  • Tumbled Glass
  • Broken China
  • Mowed Lawn
  • Vintage Photo
  • Ground Espresso
  • Carved Pumpkini
  • Mustard Seed
  • Black Soot
  • Hickory Smoke
  • Worn Lipstick
  • Cracked Pistachio

Once everything is all colored in you will hand font the banner with "YOU WERE HERE".  If you don't know the type of font you want, then search out a all capital hand font online and use that as your guide.  Add some Nuvo dots on each side and set aside to dry.

As your embellishments are drying you will begin to layer your card.  Start by gluing down the brown card stock, then your craft card stock.  Die cut your yellow print paper and center it atop the craft cardstock and glue it down.  Now you will center and glue down your water color paper with the images.  Using a glue pen adhere your wishing sentiment to the top of the card.  By now your banner should be dry (if not wait unit it's completely dry) and glue it down at the bottom f the card.

Below is the video showing you how to watercolor in your mages.

Well, I hope that you find this a fun project and use this as on example to use for your other cards or crafts!

MUAH!!!! Much love!
