Once upon a time, there was a little girl known as Little Red Riding Hood

Add a Little Red to your life!

We will start with my go to skin trio.
Skin: E000, E11, E13

Next we will move onto her hair.  I used the Copic as a base and the Prismas for the hair strands.
Hair: E23, PC947, PC938
Since the cape and hood are what this character is all about, I wanted to use a variety of rest to make the highlights and cast shadows.

Cape:R14, R46, R89, R39

For the top I didn't want to go to dark a gray so I kept it in the low cool grays.
Top: C2, C4, C6 R14

For the shoes I continued on the coloring from the cape.
Shoes: R14, R46, R89
For the skirt I went a little darker than the top.
Skirt: C4, c6, c8, R14

Lastly the basket.  I did this as a flat color not to distract from the main image.
Basket: B06, E35

All the better to see you with...

I wanted to make my wolf a nice tan and brown.  Using Prismas, I added in details for the fur, leaving the underside of the tail white.

Fur: E30, E31, E3,

Details: PC, PC
Nightie: BV00, BV01, BV05

Mouth: E04

Ears: R0000, R30, R33

Nose & Eye brows:  C06, C08
before assembling my box, I used Tumbled Glass Distress ink to blend in the sky background.  I then adhere the two birch trees and fence to the very bottom of layer of my box.  I then adhered the crass to the back side of my second layer.  The reason for this is that it makes it so much easier to trim the die cut items to fit with in the box prior to construction.

Now we are ready to get our box under construction.

Watch the video tutorial below to see how I assembled the shadow box to add in my items in the background.

Now we are all done and ready to send off!

I hope that you enjoyed this how to and come back to visit.
