Be a star on your birthday!

Hi everyone!  Muah! Muah! Muah!  So glad you came back to visit!

Today we have a simple and easy card.  This card doesn't require much.  But I really needed a masculine card for my son's 17th birthday.  Yes...I'm getting old. *Sigh*   In any case I decided that I would use blues and greens since those are some of his favorite colors.

Let's get started!
Picture
  • Starry Sentiments (Happy Birthday)
  • Distress Ink (Twisted Citron, Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch)
  • A2 Card Base
  • White Cardstock 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"
  • Foam Tape
  • Sequins
  • Apple Green Nuvo Drops
  • Zig Glue Pen

Blend! Blend! Blend!

Let's begin by getting all of our items in order.  I pulled out my white card stock trimmed to A2 size, as well as my distress inks.  I like to have everything ready to go.

1. Use Twisted Citron  in the center.

2. Next blend Tumbled Glass.

3. Blend in some Salty Ocean

4. Finally blend in Blueprint Sketch

This is what it will look like when you have finished.  It's simple and got plenty of color.

Using a scalloped rectangle die rim out the die t fit for the A2 size.   Adhere this to your card base using foam tape.

Next adhere the Happy Birthday sentiment to the center of the card using a zig glue pen.  Finally add a few embellishments with sequins and Nuvo Drops.

All done!

And here you have it.  A simple and quick card with logs of character.   I hope to see you drop on by again.

Thanks! That's exactly what I was going for. It was a perfect card masculine card too of I added some twine instead of sequins.
