Tis The Season For Giving!

Hi everyone!  Sorry that it has been so long, but the with the holidays fast approaching, it has been a tremendous amount of work to try and get much of anything done.

Shopping and holiday gift giving has been a priority on everyone's list and so I decided I would make this post to showcase the gift tags I made for my gift giving this year.  They are simple and yet add a beautiful touch to any gift.  I made a total of thirty of these so you will have to accommodate for the quantity you will need.  The supplies below are general.

  • Pointsettia SVG
  • Tag from the Milk Carton SVG
  • Digital paper pattern - gingham
  • Craft cardstock paper
  • Red cardstock paper
  • Green cardstock paper
  • Yellow Card Stock
  • Black Faber-Castle XS pen
  • 3D foam squares
  • Tacky glue
  • Twine
  • Zots - Tiny
  • Cricut
  • To & From stamps
  • Stamp platform
**See end of post for great deals on products used.

Below you will find a video showing what I used and how I used the items to make the tags.

here is what you should have cut out for making of 30 cards.
I used my Tim Holtz stamp platform to add my "to & from" stamp to the tags.  This way placement is the same on all tags.

Better yet I had found a good deal on the platform for $22!

This tool for me is indispensable for any card maker.  I like it because I'm not just limited to photo-polymer stamps, but can also use cling rubber stamps!
Now that we have our "to & from" completed, we can start our assembly, which isn't too difficult.

For this project you will mostly use tacky glue and a few Zots.

I hope that you too can make your own poinsettia tags.  The best part about this whole thing is that you can customize your tag to meet your Christmas color themes: gold, dark red, black, with glitter, with shiny paper, the possibilities are endless.

I hope to see you back soon and keep an eye out for new digi releases!
