Hello Sunshine

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine!

Okay...so that was the only song I could think of that had sunshine in it.  Sorry for the worst song ever! LOL.

Anywho!  Welcome to HeartcraftPaper!  I'm so glad you could join me today.  I have a cute and simple card for you today.  I'm just thrilled with this new release and am really excited to get this going.  

Below are the items you will need.

• Resting Pegasus digital image
• 3 white cardstock 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"
• A2 card base
• Inside scalloped circular die
• Cloud die
• Squeezed Lemon Distress Oxide
• Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide
• Tacky Glue
• Exacto Knife
• Daffodil Nuvo Drops
• Clear Tape
• 3D foam dots

Here are the colors I used for my pegasus.

Body: R000
Wings, main, tail: BG0000, BG11, BG25, BG18

​Hooves, horn:  Y000, Y06, Y17, YR23

I really waned to make a scene card but felt that it may take some time to make and instead opted for a cut out card. I began with my first piece of white cardstock. Using Squeezed Lemon Distress Oxide I blended oit the center of the card.

 I then did a partial cut with and inside scalloped die on the second piece of white cardstock. As you can see I placed my pressure plate over 2/3 of the die. Using an exacto knife I cut straight across the bottom of my cut being careful to only to cut from the scallop on one side to the other. Finally i flipped my card over and taped the backside to partial die cut.

Next I die cut the third piece of white card stock using a cloud die (this one is from Lawn Fawn) on the long side and then blended some Cracked Pistachio distress ink along the straight side of my die cut. 

Time to get gluing.  First glue the die cut piece of white card stock to the blended one.  Next you will glue the clouds on the bottom edge of the card. 

Once all of that is done you will adhere your Pegasus Unicorn and the sentiment you cut out with 3D foam dots. 

Add the final touches to the card by using Nuvo Dots around the white space to draw the eyes up and fill it in.  I used Daffodil.  Allow to dry for 24 hours and adhere to your A2 card base.
