Great Finds

Hi everyone!  Thanks for visiting.  Lately I have been asked what items I use to make my crafts.  I figured that I would search out some really good deals for you all so you can get a glimpse of what I use and also to help you find a really good deal.  With the holidays coming up this is probably the best opportunity to start up your list of items to use!

These are the tools that I find are indispensable in my craft area.  I use them every time I make a card or make a craft.
Prismacolor Colored Pencils are highly pigmented pencils that are a wax base.  The blendability of the pencils is perfect and easily achieved.  Blending can be done with a the colored pencils themselves, with a blending pencil or a blending tool.  Some will use Gambisol for blending, but i'm not the type to use liquids on my craft.
Copic Markers as the perfect took when you want a quick drying color that blends seamlessly and quickly.  They are an alcohol based artist marker.   The markers are a Japanese product that originated for the use of Manga Art.  There are other types of markers out there that are less expensive, but I have found that even compared to Prismacolor Markers, this is a better brand.  They are refillable as well.   So this is one time that the saying, "You get what you pay for," is absolutely true.  Spend a little more but be happy with your tools.
The Cricut die cutting machine.  This tool for me is something that I just can't do without.  I have been able to make cards, craft, shirts, stencils, and so much more with this tool.  It is an expense, but it will last for a very long time.  All of the image files at HCP come with a white offset that is the white space that would have when using wafer die.  You will be able to have this using the print and cut feature on design space.
I hope that this helps some of you become more inspired in making your art.  I hope that you can also join the HeartcraftPaper Galler and share your HCP items with us all there.

Come back again for some more inspiration!
