There is just something about foxes in love.

Hi everyone!  It has been a while since my last post, but i'm back again.   This time I'm using the "Foxy King Of Love Image" for my card.  I wanted to make a card for my husband this coming Valentine's Day and I figured this would be perfect.  I tried to make it as simple as possible to not overwhelm the card with so many feminine colors.    Hope he likes it!

Here is your supplie list
Picture
  • Digital Image - Foxy Kind Of Love
  • A2 Card Base
  • 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" White Card Stock
  • Copic Markers
  • Distress Oxide - Tumbled Glass
  • Distress Oxide - Bundled sage
  • Washi Tape - Valentine's Day Themed
  • 3D foam Stamps
  • Score Tape
  • Black Gel Pen
  • Tacky Glue

HCP Items Used:

Let's start with the coloring.

Face and White part of tail:  W1 & W2
Male Fox:  E41 (base), E33 (fur), E09 (outer edge of fur)
Female Fox:  E40 (base), E31 (fur), E07 (outer Edge of fur)
Ears:  R000, R30, R32
Bow: V12, V15
Hearts:  R14, R29

For the card front I used the white card stock.  Using Tumbled glass and Bundled Sage, I created the background for my Foxes to emulate sky and grass.  I created this banner using three different types of washi tape that I purchased from Michael's.  It was a ten pack that had a Simple Valentine's Day theme to it.
Next I created my own sentiment.  Using a black gel pen I wrote out "Be Mine" right under the banners.

Because this was such a simple card to make it was pretty quick to pull together.  I used 1/4" score tape to adhere the card front to my A2 card base.   I used a simple technique of lifting opposite corners to be able to adjust my card prior to gluing it down.

Using 3D foam squares, I lined the back of the image and adhered the image to the card.   Cut down your foam is need to be make sure you have enough support for your card.

Finally I glued down the hearts around the foxes using tacky glue.

Simple and clean!

Easy as can be!  This card is perfect for a man or a woman.  Thanks for visiting my blog.  Leave a comment below and let me know what type of posts you want to see.
