Cleaning Schedule

Hi everyone!  Welcome back to the blog!

Today I'm sharing a little something new with you all.  So I have been toying with a cleaning schedule for my Happy Planner.  I have been finding that I wait till the weekend to clean my house because that's when I have "free" time.  That just means when I don't have to work.  Well that just wasn't working for me because then I spend the better part of my weekend having to clean and getting frustrated.  I don't know about you guys, but to be honest I hate that.  My weekends are supposed to be the days that I have time for my family and myself.

So one day I decide to Google it.  Whaaaaaaaaaaaaa???  Yes... you can actually find a lot of topics on this matter.  I found a blog post on how one woman decided that it took a whole lot less effort on her part if she just cleaned her houses in sections a little at a time during the week.  This left a lot of time for the weekends.   That's when the light went off in my head and this is what I came up with!

I wanted to have a schedule that would give me a section of the house to clean daily.

Monday:  Bathrooms
Tuesday: Living Rooms
Wednesday: Kitchen
Thursday: Bedrooms
Friday:  Halls & Utility

I even add in a Everyday section as a reminder to do my daily items. On the backside is a monthly section.  Since I print this out as weekly insert I check off the monthly item that I had completed as a part of the month.  The monthly items are:

Bedrooms, Bathrooms, Kitchen/Dinning Area & Living Room.

The best part about this is that you don't necessarily have to complete all the items in that week for the monthly, but you can then elect which section you want to do on a weekly basis.
This insert is a downloadable PDF file which you print front and back on a 24 lb. sheet of paper.  I like weight of paper better than the standard copy paper (20 lb.) because it doesn't have too much show through.  The PDF comes in a way that it will print on the center of the paper on each side.  Once printed all you have to do is trim it down to size of 7" x 9.25".  I use the printed Line bar on the side as a reference.
You can find this product on the Etsy Shop.  It comes in pink or blue.  More colors to come as I create and update.  Give me some feed back if you do get this item so that I can improve or maybe you even have an idea for a theme!
