Happy Birthday March Babies!
Aries are the trailblazers. Passionate and independent, Aries will never do something just because everyone else is doing it—a Ram needs to be 100 percent committed to the task at hand.
Hi everyone and welcome!
For the most part Aside from coloring, I wanted to go over how I choose my designs. When I look at an image I pick on feature about it. In this instance we have a cute kawaii stars that came with the zodiac. I also thought of the sign it's self and the symbol of the ram. I thought about using that, but figured it would be a bit too much, so I figured I would stick with the stars. Why not its an astrological sign. Now I had to come up with colors to incorporate.
Now...What to make....HMM! I decided I wanted a cute picture frame with a lot of stars everywhere! But I also wanted a card. I'm a fan of handmade cards...if that wasn't obvious by now.
Next I went to the type of paper I wanted to use. I had my colors, now just the paper type. I found some sparkly Martha Stewart paper on a run to Michael's (because I have to have my craft store fix every so often), that would be perfect for the frame.. It caught my eye, but I'm not a big fan of glitter because of the mess it can make. I tried rubbing at it and nothing came off, so I purchased it. When I trimmed it, still nothing came off. I'm totally a fan of this paper and the color was perfect. Second I decided to go with a white cardstock for the card, just to make the color pop from the image itself. for accent paper I used a gold Mylar that I also found at Michael's and it gave it a shine you wouldn't believe. I have to cut and color.
See the below for instructions on how to pull this craft set together!
Here are the list of colors used in making the images in the video above. Just in case you missed it.
