Recently I have been asked for the measurements on several different planners. I will be working a post for those that I personally have in order to help you all to either make your own stickers or trimming down decorative paper to size.
We will begin with the Erin Condren Life Planner (ECLP) Vertical. While I have seen many other sights out there with measurements, I couldn't find any that had the rounded headers at the tops or bottoms of the planner.

Here you have both monthly and weekly images. Click on each one to view the image in a larger format.
From here you can now start to make stickers that will fit each section. In order to start making these you will have to find a program that allows vector editing. There are several that are free. The free one I personally use is called Inkscape. I also use Affinity and Krita. Kirta is also a free vector editor but more for drawing and painting. Like anything these programs will take time to learn, but if you can take the time to watch YouTube videos, then you have all the resources you could want at your finger tips! You can always just make shapes, work with learning how to add overlays and purchase or get free clipart.
**If you can splurge then you should go with PhotoShop or Affinity.
I hope this helps you on your sticker making journey! Best of luck to you and I hope that you share.
Hi everyone! I'm so happy that you all could join me today. I have been working hard at making new items to suit your planning needs.
Usually when I'm making out my planner layout, I don't want to make items that have already been done before. I love themed layouts and stickers. Something that you won't really find elsewhere. That being said...if you have any special requests, leave a comment! I will try my hardest to make your wish come true.
Check out what's new!
Here's a look at what I have new in the shop.

This month I have been working on summer themes. So this month I made several items that should fit the bill.
Lemon & Lavender
This layout fits perfectly on the monthly section for August! There are several boxes to add enough coverage to your month, but not completely cover the whole thing and overdo things. You also have some washi stickers, numbered banners, and decorative stickers.
Here's a look at what you planner can look like with this lemony themed layout! It's totally cute.
I was inspired by watermelon on this weekly layout. I figured there is nothing better than watermelon to describe summer. Memories of having watermelonade during the summer was perfect on hot days.
For this layout you have so many options to use in your weekly layout. The best part is that you don't have to use every sticker for the whole week. Break it apart and use it over a couple of weeks, using washi tape and hand fonts to help fill in.
This is what you planner can look like with this if you decide to use it as a whole spread!
One Size Fits All!
Here are my one size fits all stickers that came out this week. I know that not everyone likes to use pre-made layouts and want to create something of their very own. Here you have it! these are perfect stickers for any planner.
Okay...so this is one that I came out with because my kids are such huge fans of Stranger Things. I feel that this would make the perfect sticker set for any fan looking to make a Stranger Things layout! I think my daughter will be using this one in her student planner.
Stay in the loop!

Welcome back everyone!
I'm so glad that you can join me today. I know you have been noticing a lot of changes happening and it's all for the best.
That being said, I wanted to lead into helping you decide what planner is best for you. I'm lucky enough that I have two major planner companies in my area.
BUT...that is not to say that these planners will work specifically for you. To help you choose what the planner you will need I suggest you make a list of what the planner should do for you.
So before I continue on...I just want to let you know, that just because I have listed the above two companies, that in no way means I'm going to stick just to these two. There are so many planners out there and I hope that this helps you to determine which is the best for you regardless of where you get yours from.
What will I be using the planner for?
This is the first question you want to ask your self. When I started looking for planners I went about searching the web like crazy. While planners are not by any means new, the whole life planning movement changed how we use planners. I have two separate planners myself. I have one that I use to track what I need for work and the other for my daily life (including my HeartcraftPaper schedule). Knowing what you are looking to use the planner for will allow you to know which producer would best suit your needs. Here are some examples
Do I want a spiral, disk or binder bound planner?
Right about now you probably thinking that you never knew there were so many different options. First let's go over the different types.
Here are some planner companies to look out for:
Again this type of planner has several supplies, but not as many as you would think. The best part of this is just how customizable it can be.

Do I want a pre-printed layout or a dot layout?
You're probably asking yourself what a Dot Layout is. Well, let me take you back to elementary school when you had rainy days and had to play indoors. Two or three of you would gather around a sheet of paper and play the game of Dots. You would make out a whole grid of dots to connect forming squares as you went along and the person with the most squares won.
Because the dot layout is a blank canvas, and if you are the artistic type that likes to hand font or draw, then this would be the type of planner you would love. Otherwise a structured type is much easier.
What size do I want?
Click on the image below to see the size you would like.
Do I want something plain that I can decorate any way I want or do I want it with some print that I can add a few things to?
If you are anything like me, and you like to bling out everything in your house, then your planner will be no different. This just means that you love to decorate and add a touch of cuteness. On the flip side maybe you like the minimalist approach to keep a clean and well organized planner. Several planners offer some with decorated pages and other are basic and this allows for adding your own touch or keeping as is. I think it's important to have a planner that suits your personality. If not you may end up getting sick of it.
Been there and done that...Moving on.
How much do I want to spend?
Out of everything I think this is the most important question of all. What is your budget and are you going to be spending on your planner after the fact? As much as I love having a cheap planner, I always end up spending on tons of stickers, washi tapes and stamps. There are several budget friendly planners that you can bling out on your own if you can't afford the $50 variety. Look for deals and sales. Michael's and Hobby Lobby constantly have coupons that can be used to bring down the price of your planner to a budget friendly cost as well. You can even make your own by getting downloadable planners online. Search around since there are so many places you can get great deals!
I hope that this has helped in some way to simplify the decision making process of purchasing a planner. It's usually daunting and then you buy one planner that you don't like and have to buy a new one. I won't lie...it's happened to me several times...SHHHHH!
I hope that you come and visit me again soon
Hi everyone! Welcome Back.
With recent changes to my life I have had to wonder how I view life. Every day I take out my planner and utilize it as a way to funnel my creative energy. I have found that I enjoy having my planner out on my desk and seeing just how cute and pretty I can make it. By nature I am a crafter and I love to create, draw and all the rest. This for me has been a way for me to organize my self as well as give me a daily inspiration.
One of those is having a positive mind and giving myself a positive vibe. Seeing how work always pushes me to rush. I'm always under constant pressure too. With that in mind I had decided to make a cute little dashboard for myself.
Click on the images below to get a closer look.
Of course I used my Cricut to make this seeing as there are several tab cards available in Design Space (DS). I made this color item using a phrase in DS and made my own rates using Inkscape. As for the colorful printed paper, well I had designed my own digital paper a while back and decided to use that for my background since I wanted something colorful to add some cheer to my day. All I had to go was get a dry-erase marker and I can fill it on on the back to make a list of positives or things to help me stay a bit more optimistic about life and remind myself that life is short and stress is the last thing I need in my short life.
Just to show you the type of day I started off with...here is a look at my positive for the day. I have to say at least my outlook on life is a bit better today.
Then again...I didn't get burned by coffee.
I will be posting a tutorial on making these little inserts for your happy planner. This way you can make your own too!

Hi everyone! Welcome back to the blog!
Today I'm sharing a little something new with you all. So I have been toying with a cleaning schedule for my Happy Planner. I have been finding that I wait till the weekend to clean my house because that's when I have "free" time. That just means when I don't have to work. Well that just wasn't working for me because then I spend the better part of my weekend having to clean and getting frustrated. I don't know about you guys, but to be honest I hate that. My weekends are supposed to be the days that I have time for my family and myself.
So one day I decide to Google it. Whaaaaaaaaaaaaa??? Yes... you can actually find a lot of topics on this matter. I found a blog post on how one woman decided that it took a whole lot less effort on her part if she just cleaned her houses in sections a little at a time during the week. This left a lot of time for the weekends. That's when the light went off in my head and this is what I came up with!
The best part about this is that you don't necessarily have to complete all the items in that week for the monthly, but you can then elect which section you want to do on a weekly basis.
This insert is a downloadable PDF file which you print front and back on a 24 lb. sheet of paper. I like weight of paper better than the standard copy paper (20 lb.) because it doesn't have too much show through. The PDF comes in a way that it will print on the center of the paper on each side. Once printed all you have to do is trim it down to size of 7" x 9.25". I use the printed Line bar on the side as a reference.
You can find this product on the Etsy Shop. It comes in pink or blue. More colors to come as I create and update. Give me some feed back if you do get this item so that I can improve or maybe you even have an idea for a theme!

HeartcraftPaper is getting a new look!
The website has changed! I'm totally excited for this new look. I think it looks sophisticated yet fun. I personally thing it was time for a change.
I'm still sticking with the color pink, but figured that a nice French flair of pink, black and white would really help my shop stand out. Aside from that I'm not really sticking to the heart theme much, but more or less to a style.
With all this, the next change I'm having is the type of items that I will be selling. After much consideration I have come to the conclusion that I would like to take on my second passion. That is my life planner. Now I have been life planning for a while now in order to keep myself organized. This came about as a way for me to really track things going on in my life, and I just love GLAMPING! I know that many of you Love the Happy Planner and other the Erin Condren Planners, so I plan on making stickers for each.
Let you in on a little secret... I have an EC and MAMBI store around the corner from where I live. I plan to hit each one to give you all a look-see.
Just incase you want to be in the know, you can also follow along on:
Many of you are probably wondering what has happened to my shop. Well, unfortunately there was not enough traffic coming through the website in order to make it successful. But, hey you never know if your business will succeed unless you try.
What does this mean for the items you currently have for sale?
Well that just means that i'm shifting location from this site to Etsy! This also means I am going to have a shift in items that I sell. I will continue to make digital items as well as having some physical ones.
So what are you going to be selling if not digital images?
My shift to making planner stickers has not come easy. Due to my own health issues the stress of drawing and churning out items on a monthly basis was aggravating my situation. This is also a great way for me to keep making things I love but in a way that I can manage.
I hope that you can stop by and visit the shop. You will also continue to see videos for how to's as well on the blog!
