Hi everyone! As promised, I am going to post more frequently as the holidays die down. Phew! I have had these stamps cut out and ready for working with for about a week. I figure that it's high time that I work with them. To begin, the stamped images are the Arctic Pals stamp set by Craftin Desert Divas. The best part about this set is the fact that there are coordinating SVG files to cut your images rather than dies. dies can be expensive for stamp sets, but at this particular shop you will find them for $.99! That's right! $.99 Cents! If you have a cutting machine it couldn't be easier. So you don' t have the brother Scan n' Cut (like me....), you can still cut the images out with a nice beveled edge. Next I used the Scribble Snowflake Die and this particular dies leaves a nice negative and a perfect positive cut. I used both parts of the die to make this card, only that I used white for the positive cut in order to contrast with the craft paper backdrop. I colored these items using Prismacolor pencils. I gotta say that these are the best color pencils I've worked with. Last but not lease, I used the 4 way cloud stencil set found on my Etsy page. For this I used Cracked Pistachio Distress ink to make the clouds in a soft tone to match my overall theme of earth tones. Below you will find the video that lists the colors used, how to color and how to assemble the unit. I hope that you enjoy this tutorial and will see you back here for another crafting adventure.
