A little bit of the Disney evil...Hi everyone! Welcome back to HeartcraftPaper. Sorry that it has been so long since I have updated, but I have been around, just taking a bit of a break for myself. Recently I found a fun bunch of ladies through a Facebook group of So Cal crafters. Lucky me, I found them just in time for a Downtown Disney brunch! This was so much fun because there was good people, food, craft trading and fun! To start with I spent much of my week trying to get some of my items in order. Instructions were to make 20 4" x 6" tags. Each person was assigned a villain (mine was the headless horseman ). Next, Bring a Disney mug filled with candies...mmmm....candies! And yes...come bound as your fave villain or character (of course I chose Snow White). One of the other items we were asked to make was a set of DIY Micky Ears. Here is what I came up with (tutorial video soon too come... :P). The Disney ears only had to be Halloween themed, but I decided to keep with my Headless Horseman theme and found these really great SVG files in Design Space to use on my ears. They were so cute, I decided to make two sets (yes, I made one set for me to keep, okay!). I think we make a really cute pair! Don't you? We started the party with some delicious food. Greek Yogurt...French Toast...and Chillaquilles. MMMMMMMMMMMMM. ![]() And yes! We all had to have a little drink with our brunch. Okay...so maybe I had two.....or three.... Just kidding. Here are are the Tags that we each traded up! Everyone of them were lovely! It was so much fun to sit around with this group. We had a few good laughs. We found out about each other and decided to keep in touch. I do hope that we we get together again soon. Here's a cute little video I put together. Hope you enjoy. If any of you are interest in joining the next event in So Cal, please let me know. I will get you in touch with the coordinators.

I guess, it's pretty ideal to have a Bruch with people who share the same interest as you. I feel that the word "family" exists in HeartcraftPaper! I can see in you photos that are busy in your creativity, but you don't forget the connection you make with each other. I guess, that's really important; the connection you make with your colleagues. I ma happy that you guys had a brunch and small costume party! How I wish I am also surrounded by creative people like you guys!
