Sometime your in a bind and don't have the print you need for your card. The other day I was making a card for the DT Team of Craftin Desert Divas and I quickly realized that i did not have any printed paper that would match my card theme. "What's a girl to do, right? Well, It was time to take out my trusty distress inks and make my own. Kind of reminded me of that movie seen: "Badges? We don't need no stinkin' badges!" Of course I'm sitting at my table kind of cracking up at myself just as my husband is walking into the room looking at me like I'm nuts. The best thing about this whole dilemma was that I was quickly able to come up with my own solution and it turned out to be perfect. It's made with items that most every crafter has. Paper: White cardstock (110lb if you have it) Inks: This can be any dye or pigment ink you have and a sponge (I used distress inks because it's what I had available) Mask: So this be a stencil, washi tape or even a dies cut. Accents: For the card below I used Nuvo Drops to ass in the seeds as accents for my print. If you don't have this then you can use markers or sequins to make your print. So even if you don't have all that you need...you're a crafter, make it if you don't have it. **Items used to make this card are listed below.
