I cannot think of any need in childhood as strong as the need for a father's protection.

With the coloring done, continue with the background. On an A2 white cardstock Blend out Blueprint Sketch, Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide. This will cover 3/4 of the cardstock. Die cut this using one of the dies from MFT Stamps Ocean Waves Die-namics or any wave dies. Next, sprinkle some water onto the card to make it look like bubbles in the water. Attach this to the second A2 card stock using liquid glue.
Being that the hook and line are fairly small it's best to glue down down next. I simply used liquid glue to attach it to the card on the upper left side.
Using the larges of the double stitched dies I passed it through the die machine to get a clean cut all the way around. Adhere this to the A2 card base using liquid glue.
Cut out the "Reel" font to size 69.95" four times. Stack each of the four letters (R's, E's, E's L's) together to give some height. Using a thing washi tape as a guide, attach the letters along the washi for a straight line.
Using foam dots to give the images depth, adhere first the reef to the bottom right of the card. Next the Gold fish. Be sure to overlap a bit with the reef. Finally the "Cool Dad" Banner. Cut down the dots to fit or use 1/4" squares.
Here you have it. Very easy to make and yet has great detail to it.
