We're painting the roses red! We're painting the roses red!
Hi everyone! This past month I was off and did not make a release for April. Lets just say I needed some me time...Phew! With all the craziness of the holidays over I could finally take a breather.
Even still this month we are still creating a LINK PARTY and for those of you who are not following the month 1st post, you will also be able to link up below. Today I have really special card for you. This stunning beauty was something that I came up with while paying in Cricut Design Space. I wanted to follow up my Alice in Wonderland image with the Queen of Hearts. If at any time during you wish to stop the music that is currently playing please scroll to the bottom of the post and hit pause.

If you go to the above link you will be able to see all the items that I have used for my card. Below is what you should have
Let's get coloring!
Face: E000 & 0, use the E000 along the edges and the colorless blender to soften the color on the face.
Arms & Neck: E21
Hair: YR65, YR68, YR18, YR27
Now that the image coloring is complete we can move on to the assembly of the card. YAY!
Step 3:
Glue the ephemera playing cards to the roses on the right side and slightly tilted. Now using the foam mounting tape adhere the ephemera to the bottom portion of the heart shaped card, so that the playing cards pop a little over the edge of the card.
Step 4:
Using the foam mounting tape adhere the sentiment to the upper right the rose.
Step 6:
The final part of the card are the rose embellishments. Now you can use purchased paper roses or you can make your own using your Cricut machine. The link to the SVG file in Design space is above and below is a video showing how to make the rose. Once you are ready, adhere the roses in the upper left corner. I made 3and they fit perfectly.
You are now done! I hope that those of you who are interested in a die cutting machine, really consider it. This is a space saver and the amount of craft possibilities are endless.
I do hope that you have enjoyed this step-by-step and will see you next time. If you want to join the link party, simply ad in your link below! You are invited to the Inlinkz link party! Click here to enter
