Winter is here and it's time for sweaters and mittens.
This creation was made for the StarStampz Challenge. Every month StarStampsz hosts a challenge in which you can win three images of your choosing. This month we have a Winter Wonderland theme that will be perfect for the holidays. Head on over and submit your entry!
Let The Snow FallOnce the image is all colored in, Die cut the snow globe circle out of an A2 size white cardstock. Then blend in some colors using distress oxide. Blend from light to dark. Die cut the snow globe bae from brown cardstock and adhere at the bottom of the circle cut out using liquid glue. Die cut a piece of acetate to 4" x 5 1/4". Adhere it to the back of the snow globe piece. I used 1/8" double sided tape to do this. Once that is set in place, line the back of the snow globe with 1/4" foam tape. Make sure to steer clear of the circle cut out. Set your image down onto the card base using liquid glue. Pour some of the sequin mix over the image and adhere down the snow globe piece over top. This will create the shaker element to the card. I used a little label to write in "North Pole" and then glued it down to the brown cardstock cut out. I used Blue Crush Nuvo Drops on the sides of the label and three drops of Duck Egg Blue Nuvo Drops in the upper right corner. Finally, die cut out the Let It Snow Border Die out of white cardstock and then glue it down with liquid glue, just below the snow globe This is what the finished product will look like!
