It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!Hi everyone! Welcome back to HertcraftPaper. I know it has been a while since I was really able to post one of my creations, but I have been extremely busy. That at the fact that my desktop computer finally kicked the bucket. This is my main computer for editing and creating files, which is why it was such a bummer to bury it. I know most of you have been seeing the newest images from the shop, but today I decided to work with one set in particular since it is the most popular and most favorite to-date. I came up with this cute little image as a part of a penguin theme that I started and thought what about kissing under the holly! There you have it. Below is a list of the items you will need.
Let's get crafting! The first thing you want to do is get your images set up so you can color them in and cut them out. This particular part will be the colors to suit your Christmas theme. Also cut out folder for your card project and retain the heart cut out as you will need it . Once that is all done, cut out your images and sentiment to set them aside for later. Next you will emboss your card front with your Christmas themed embossing folder. Set aside. Now you will add a touch of color with the tab paper embellishment by glueing it to the life folder cut out at the top. Using the retained heart, you will glue it down so that a small portion of the heart overlaps with the heart negative space. Using the 3D foam squares adhere the sentiment to the middle lower portion of the card. Just between the two hearts. Make a bow with the twine and using a Zot dot, adhere the the bow in the center of the tab. We are now down to the final touches. Glue together the layers of the holly cut out. Then using two Zot Dots and adhere this over the bow. Make sure to press down firmly. Finally, add 3D foam to the backs of the images and adhere the female penguin inside of the heart negative space and the male penguin in the center of the heart cut out. Viola! We are now done with our card. Now this card was fairly simple to put together. Using my Cricut to cut out all of my items. I ended up making a total of 8 cards! I'm so excited and can hardly wait for mailing this card out to one of my loved ones.
Until next time... XOXO HeartcraftPaper
