Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!Welcome! I'm so glad you could visit today and see what I have in store for you. St. Patrick's Day is coming and any time celebrations offers up a new opportunity to make a card! I was recently watching a documentary on Irish Step Dancing and I was so inspired that I drew out "Kelly" the Irish Feis dancer. I absolutely love the sound and choreography of this type of dance. When I think of St. Patrick's Day this is what pops into my head. Here's what you will need to make this card. I hope that you stop by the shop and see what else we have available. Project in Design Space: https://design.cricut.com/#/design/132315089 For this it is really best to use Cricut to make your card. This image is already pre-set to bring into Design Space for the print and cut feature. You will also find that you can simply print this out and fussy cut. The choice is your. The links to the images within Design Space have also been linked above for anyone to find. First lets start with coloring in our image since this usually takes me the longest. AssemblyOne the coloring is done, the rest is pretty straight forward and simple. Let's pull our card together. Glue down the green background cut to the print and cut patterned card base. Next we will work the white cardstock layer by adding some color with Twisted Citron Distress Ink. Once you have added the color to your cardstock, simply glue it down to the green background so that 1/8" of green peeks out all around the edges. Now layer up the Clover Band and glue it down across the bottom about 1" from the bottom edge of the card. Time to add in a little more detail with the large shamrock being glued on the left side of the card. I reserved the clover cut outs from the band and used those as embellishments along the right side of the card gluing them down randomly. We are are now on the final stages of the card. We are ready to add our image and sentiment. Using 3D foam squares you want to add them to the image and embellishment. Adhere the image on the left right over the large shamrock and then the sentiment along the bottom right. Here you have your finished product. This is cute and simple and absolutely perfect for sending off to your Irish friends for the holiday! I hope that you find the time to try and make this card when you get a chance. Maybe you can even show off your own creation using the Kelly Feis digital image! You can tag me on instagram as well.
See you next time, XOXO HeartcraftPaper
