Boo! Did I Scare You?
Let The Scares Begin!Once the image is colored in, fussy cut the image out and set aside. This image is about 2.5" inches tall. For the sentiment I decided to use a paper that had ribbon fonts across it. I found this at Michael's and i figure this would be perfect for this card. I cut a strip to fit my card and it has a Boo! and Eeeeek on it. Which I thought was fun. From the same pack I used a holographic paper that had stars and moons on it. It fit the theme perfectly. Die cut this with the Halloween Scene Die so it is about 1/4" from the top and centered horizontally. Cut out a piece of white cardstock to 4.25" x 5.5". Your items are not cut out and ready to go. On the white cardstock, blend Seedless Preserve, Blueprint Sketch and Black Soot to create an evening sky. I then used a white gel pen to create some stars in the sky. Using My Halloween Scene cutout as a template, I adhered my little image onto the sky background with liquid glue. Using 1/4" foam tape, line the back of the Halloween Scene cut out and adhere over your image. I love how this looks, just like she is waiting for something to just jump on out at her. Using liquid glue, adhere the font strip just below the window cut out. With 1/8" double sided tape adhere the black and white ribbon across the bottom. Don't forget to attach it to the back of the card as well. Now it's time to adhere the card front to the card base using liquid glue. You can also use double sided tape if you like. It's totally up to you. Wasn't that a sweet and simple card to make? This is what your card will look like once finished.
