So you want to step up your coloring game. Well you have come to the right place. I know what your thinking..."What makes you so different from every other blogger out there?" Well that is all going to depend on your taste. What I will say is that I am just like you and I had to learn somehow and I didn't have the tools available to me at the time to figure out how to color. There are many people who sell their online courses and usually per class you are talking about $25 to $50 per class. The classes are good, but can become pricy. So I'm just here to give you some pointers, Help you find your way around to getting what you will need to improve you art. I have linked a video below to help you learn your first step in coloring. This will be some of the items you will need, blending and some shadowing. The first items you will need of course are your color pencils. I personally use Prismacolor. I have done some research and viewed different videos. I cam to the conclusion that Prismacolor soft core are the pencils for me. Some people like the hard core, but for me they don't blend so well. You will need a pencil sharpener too. Don't go crazy and get an electric. You will find that it will eat away at your pencils and you will only have a nub left by the end of this tutorial. Next you will have to find paper that works for you. I have found that I like Canson's, there are others out there so it is a personal preference. These are the basics for now. You for more supplies and tools you can view the video for a full detailed listing. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to learn other techniques.
