I Put a spell on you!Hi everyone! Welcome back to HeartcraftPaper. I'm so glad you could join me today since I have a cute little creation using all new items from the shop. Since Halloween is only one month away (okay so a little more than a month), I wanted to get cracking on making my cards for the season. I had just release this cute little image: Sarafina decided I would use this for my next craft.
Lets get cutting! Those of you with die cutting machines (such as Cricut & Silhouette), will have to set the lines on the file to score lines. I would love to make the small dash lines, but I find that it ruins the integrity of the card by having so many dashed cut lines vs. a simple folded score line. You're in luck! I have just finished up the assembly instructions for this card. The tutorial also shows you how to work with the image in design space. Sorry I have a Cricut. I will be asking one of my DT to see if they can provide instructions for Silhouette. I also made a simple white paper insert with a sentiment on the side to add a an additional touch to the card and a clean area to write something on my card prior to sending it off.
I made my witch a little red-haired girl with her kitty cat watching her. I made the image to trim out at about 1.75" tall. I colored this in with my Copics. You can feel free to use color pencils if you would like. I used 3D foam dots on my image and sentiment to adhere to my card. That's the end of that. Sorry for the short post, but most of the explanation is in the embodiment of the video. Don't forget to visit the Gallery and share any HCP creations you may have. We also have several events going on. 1) ATC Trade (join the group on the side) 2) Kiddie Challenge . (join the group on the side) 3) All Things Crafty Challenge. (visit link on the side) Hope I will see you on the flip side! Best of luck. XOXO HeartcraftPaper
