Hi everyone!
I know its been a while since I have been able to post, but I have some exciting news!  Craftin Desert Divas has selected me as one of their design team members!

So my apologies for not being able to post as often as I should, but with the holidays and preparing for the January release I have been so busy.  

I also hope that you all have had a wonderful holiday and hope that your New Year is filled with fun and lots of joy!  I know that my family and I have had a wonderful year.  I also expect big things to come in 2018!

Hey All!!  If you follow my Facebook page then you will know that I was hosting a giveaway for reaching 200 Likes. It was a week long entry process.  Finally it was announced that the winner was Koala Bc on Facebook!

\Today (as I indicated in my earlier post) I was at a crafting event that I happened to find on Facebook.  It was a fundraiser hosted by the American Caner Association.  I was a group of ladies (some who have never made handcrafted cards before) getting together to enjoy the afternoon making crafts.  

I had a great time chitchatting with everyone at my table and helping out when needed.  

Lunch was provided for us, all the items for card making was provided as well, and company of lovely women.  All this for a small donation of $30 to help fight cancer.  I figure that since it is breast cancer awareness month, that I should do my part.  

We made a total of 5 cards, three tags and three card holders.   

These lovely ladies have been hosting this even for five years now and hope to continue.  This year though the location that we were at, Craft Envy, is closing and will no longer be hosting.   This was my first time at this craft store and finding out that they are only open for one more week was a bit sad.  On the bright side, the store is selling everything at a 40% discount.

YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS!!!!     It's time to shop!   As you can see, I got this all for 40% off!  Of course that means I had to figure a way to sneak this into the house...*whistling to self*  I can hardly wait to try this all.  :D  If you are interested in shopping there, you will find the address in the link above. 

So today I will be attending a Cancer Awareness Fundraiser out in Santa Clarita.  As this is Breast Cancer Awareness I want to salute all those women who have battled and won their struggle.  As for those who did not survive, our prayers are with you and we know that they are in a better place. 

Don't forget to wear your pink for the 'Save the Ta-Ta's' Month!  Get out there and do something to join in on the fight.

Join the Avon Walk or see if your community center is hosting an awareness event that you can offer to help.  Or if you are like me find a fundraiser that you can share your craft with.
