Autumn is nature's grand show! A magical changing of color from green to red, orange, yellow and gold.
Let The Colors Change!Blend all three distress oxides at the bottom of the frame backing. once blended you will adhere the craft cardstock frame topper. This will allow the arrow to show through with a wonderful ombre effect. Finally adhere the image to the back of the frame. Build the the card by applying the 7" x 5.5" printed rectangle cut onto an A7 Card base. The print is an orange striped print I used with the print and cut feature in Design Space. Die cut the maple leaf according to the three size widths posted above. I used the print and cut feature for all three leaves. I found a tan polka dot pattern in design space. The other two come form the digital packs that can be found in my shop. They are linked above. Begin by gluing down the larges of the three maple leaves onto the right side of the card. Turn it at a slight angle. Next adhere down the image set. Use foam tape to adhere this down. I used 1" foam tape. I set this slightly askew on the lest side of the card to give some interest to the card. Now time for the remaining leaves. I placed the image down first in order to help me with placement of the other items. I used liquid glue with my second larges leave and turned it counter clockwise and set it in the lower right hand corner of the card. For the final leave I used 1/4" foam tape to adhere this down. I wanted to have some dimension and this also allowed the leave to come up tot he level of my image since part of the leave would sit on top of the Polaroid frame. We are now down to the final touches. Using 1/4" foam tape on the sentiment. I placed the sentiment on the lower right with part of the sentiment sitting on top of the frame. I then added some enamel dots from Gina K. I used two sets of three orange dots on opposite corners. This is how the final product will look. The card is simple and easy to make, but has a lot of details in the way of blending, paper print and embellishments.
